UPAY is a leading branded Mobile electronic
payment collection network used, primarily, for the cash payment of bills and services and prepayments for mobile telephones
and energy meters. UPAY commenced trading in 2009
Retail network
There will be over 6000 outlets
using UPAY's payment collection systems by mid 2012. These include Retail Agents / Merchants with UPAY Terminals, with
EPoS connections to UPAY systems and some with both a UPAY Terminal and EPoS connectivity.
Diverse client portfolio
UPAY's Clients include many of the different
utility major energy, cable, mobile and fixed line telephony companies. The Client list also extends to local government authorities,
housing associations and a growing transport and travel base. Clients pay fees for each payment collected.
Retail agents
UPAY's Retail Agents include convenience
stores, newsagents, forecourts, off licences, supermarkets, existing distribution telecom chains.
National coverage
UPAY believes and will strive
to create an easy access network that is based on internal mapping systems, that over 95 per cent of Nigerian households are
situated within one mile in urban areas or five miles in rural areas of a UPAY Retail Agent / merchant.
